English Class- Presented by Literacy Connects
The Family Resource Centers have partnered with Literacy Connects to provide free Adult English classes for parents, guardians, or caregivers of TUSD registered students. English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELLA) helps parents learn and improve their English language skills. ELAA students come from more than 70 countries and have educational levels that vary from college graduates to those who do not read and write in their native language.

Kith & Kin- Presented by Candelen (Spanish)
Join us for the exciting Kith & Kin program! Participants will attend an orientation session and receive 7 weeks of training, where they will practice new skills and learn proven strategies for providing childcare in early childhood settings. After the initial training, attendees can participate in an additional 4 weeks focused on home, crib, and car seat Safety. Participants will also have the opportunity to earn a CPR and First Aid certificate.
Únase a nosotros para el emocionante programa Kith & Kin donde los participantes asisten a una orientación y reciben 7 semanas de capacitación, practican nuevas habilidades y aprenden estrategias comprobadas en la primera infancia para brindar cuidado infantil. Asista a 4 semanas adicionales para aprender Seguridad en el hogar, la cuna y el asiento del automóvil. También obtenga un certificado de RCP y primeros auxilios.
